About

Clara Rogers, back after a long break

This log is mine, Clara Rogers, written for players shaking off rust beside me. I played vanilla when it launched, then wandered off for years because of work and moving house. Keybinds, gate names and half my rotations had slipped away. The Forever beta on September 17 pulled me back, with a new Skyborne and a blank map. Level 14 came on night four once I quit chasing elites, and level 28 on night ten by looping river quests and skinning every wolf.

Every step is logged with dates. I draw phase arrows on gate maps after repeated full clears, photograph lockouts with loot rules showing, and practice with new voices in quiet lobbies. Old paths I retire are filed with a reason and a date.

The rough first night

Two patrols I never scouted killed me near the cliff chains. A wide turn pulled two packs, my bags filled before I found the vendor paths, and I forgot rested bonus existed, losing three evenings of it. I fumbled pulls in group chat and apologized twice in one run. I share the cost openly, since every returnee pays it. Each blunder went into my notes that night, and I re-ran each failed gate within two nights with corrected calls.

From rusty to cleared in thirty nights

  • stored rested bonus between sessions for dungeon chains;
  • ran Riverglades river quests Monday and Wednesday, two hours at most;
  • priced a rank-four mount plus mid bags at level 30 and split the total over five farm nights;
  • bought bags first, since full bags halve hourly income;
  • kept Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit dates before December 9 fills boards;
  • joined my first Onyxia night with drops written in my sheet.

Level 60 is the cap, new raids open December 9, and names lock October 27 through November 3. Beta shots are filed by build, guides carry level brackets I verified, and bandages come before long chains.

Using the roadmap

My comeback page holds the whole thirty-night plan with tables I completed, and the check page has vault math using Tuesday prices. I read contact notes on Sunday evenings. After hotfixes I retest on my own realm. If something breaks after a patch, send zone, level and when you tried, and I will go at it again with fresh eyes. Reader proof earns a nickname credit, passwords and codes are never requested, and my alt has pinned mount sheets. Outdated paths get a strike note next to the new link.
