Plain words first
zerowastecocktails.com is a reading log without accounts or a checkout. I keep data collection very small on purpose, and here is the detail.
Server logs and form notes
- A contact form message brings me the name and email you typed.
- Normal server logs hold an IP stamp and user agent for a few days to catch abuse. Raw logs go after fourteen days, and only abuse flags stay.
No bought lists, no ad trackers across sites, no browser fingerprinting. Reader mail never goes to outside tools or into model training. Plugin swaps are recorded with reason and date, and consent stamps are kept with opt-outs next to them.
Outbound links
Some lists send you to shops and databases. They have their own rules once you arrive.
Cookies
There are two. One saves your banner choice for six months, and my host sets one that speeds repeat loads for a day. My dashboard shows aggregate counts only, like views per post and referring host. Comment profiling stays off where possible. I do not store precise location or voice or face data. Plugin settings are reviewed quarterly, embeds yearly, and anything heavy on tracking or any video frame adding cookies gets removed. Stream links are saved with dates for overnight jobs.
What happens with your notes
They only help run this log. Mail gets answered on Sundays, gate guides get corrected with route data you share, and logs help fight spam. I do not sell addresses or swap lists with boost shops or gold sellers. I hand data over only for a valid legal request or when my host needs log lines to stop an attack. Names are stripped from quoted reader tips. Backups are locked behind my admin login and host panel, passwords change after each contractor job ends, and cookie changes after plugin swaps are posted here.
Younger visitors
My guides are aimed at adults. Signups that look under thirteen are ignored.
Requests and questions
Ask from the address involved and I will send a copy of what I hold within 30 days. Wrong names are corrected. For erasure I delete contact history except a suppression hash that prevents future sends. Every step is confirmed in plain text. Use the contact form for questions; the reply comes within a week. Mail archives are encrypted under my admin login only. Regulator questions get answered with dated copies filed.
